A soother, pacifier or dummy is a useful aid for relaxing your baby. The improved NUK Genius Soother was developed in partnership with dental health experts and is based on the approved orthodontic NUK shape with an even softer, more flexible baglet which reduces the pressure on baby's jaw and teeth, reducing the risk of teeth misalignment. Medical findings combined with clever technical details make the new NUK Genius especially kind to the teeth and jaw. Its particularly soft surface moulds itself gently against your child’s palate, whilst the underside of the teat has a smooth transition and a domed shape, giving the tongue plenty of space for natural sucking movements. The even narrower and particularly thin teat neck helps reduce pressure on little teeth. With a new vent air can always escape meaning it remains flat in the mouth.. The NUK Air System helps to ensure that the mouthpiece remains soft and flexible. And all that together makes a NUK Genius Soother even kinder to teeth!

Latex is a natural material which can age more quickly. The natural ageing is however a good indicator as to when the soothers needs to be replaced. Latex is popular with many parents because it is softer and more flexible which can make it easier for some babies to adapt to, it is also more bite resistant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RFL2017 from Perfect for my little one! I bought this a few weeks ago after my sister recommending it. I have tried various kinds of dummies with my little one but she refused to take any. This latex Nuk one was just perfect. She took it straight away with no problem. I would really recommend it for all mummies especially the ones who are breastfeeding as this dummy is the closes to breast nipple and wouldn’t cause a confusion for babies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rach78 from Amazing I have tried so many different dummies for my breastfed baby who is 5 months old, she has never taken any and I was beginning to give up looking for one. My daughter would need to suck for comfort and some nights I was so drained. A friend recommend this latex one, I was not convinced but it is amazing my daughter loves it and took to it straight away. Thank you x
