Mimics Mother Nature

The Next Best Thing to Breastfeeding

NUK First Choice+ teats are specially developed to support breastfeeding, enabling mothers to alternate between breast and bottle at any time.

Not Round for a Reason

The NUK Orthodontic Teat: Not Round For A Reason!

The unique NUK shape is designed to optimally fit baby’s mouth, encouraging the healthy development of the oral cavity. NUK Orthodontic Teats are designed based on nature’s perfect model, mother’s breast during feeding, making the transition between breast and bottle feeding easier.

BDHF Approved

Oral Health Foundation approved

NUK is the only brand to have both teats and soothers approved by the Oral Health Foundation, so you know you are using the best quality products for your baby.

Anti Colic

The NUK Anti-Colic Air System

All NUK Teats have an air vent, known as the NUK Air System, which compensates for the difference in air pressure in the bottle. This not only helps to prevent the teat collapsing, but also the harmful swallowing of air, otherwise known as colic.

Your questions answered:

What is the difference between silicone and latex teats?

Silicone Teat
Latex Teat

NUK offers both silicone and latex teats; silicone is stronger and more durable but latex is popular with many parents because it is softer and more flexible which can make it easier for some babies to adapt to. The choice of silicone or latex is a personal choice but there is a NUK Teat to cater for both needs.

How should bottles & teats be cleaned?

Sterilise using steam or cold water sterilisation, or a NUK Steam or Microwave Steriliser (dishwasher sterilisation is not recommended as this can cause material damage). The NUK Baby Bottle Cleanser is recommended to remove milk protein, pulp and juice residues, more effectively than hot, soapy water alone.

How often should the teats be replaced?

For safety and hygiene purposes replace teat after 1-2 months use.

The NUK range of bottles is also available in multipacks, Disney designs and glass!
